Ask you MP to support the Challenge the Oath campaign, and find out if your MP would prefer to swear allegiance to you, their constituents, rather than to the Queen. You can write to your MP either by post or by email. It's easy. We've even provided some key points for your letter or email (See bottom of the page.)

Click on your MP's name. This should take you to a form where you can complete your details and add a message.3
Enter your details and write your message in the message box. When you're ready (don't forget to add your name to the bottom of the letter!) click on Preview your message and follow the instructions (you'll need to check your email inbox). Your message has been sent!

What to say in your letter or email
It's a good idea to start by getting straight to the point, by saying:
"As one of your constituents I am asking if you will support the 'Challenge the Oath' campaign which is calling for an alternative oath of allegiance for MPs who do not support the monarchy. I would also like to know if you would prefer to swear your allegiance to your contituents or to the Queen."
You may also want to include some or all of the following points.
